NAME

App::lcpan::Cmd::deps_unindexed - List all unindexed dependencies

VERSION

This document describes version 0.011 of App::lcpan::Cmd::deps_unindexed (from Perl distribution App-lcpan-CmdBundle-deps), released on 2021-06-03.

DESCRIPTION

This module handles the lcpan subcommand deps-unindexed.

FUNCTIONS

handle_cmd

Usage:

 handle_cmd(%args) -> [$status_code, $reason, $payload, \%result_meta]

List all unindexed dependencies.

This subcommand lists unindexed dependencies. It does not require you to specify a distribution name, so you can view all unindexed dependencies in the dep table. Only "unindexed dependencies" are listed though, meaning modules that are not currently indexed by 02packages.details.txt.gz. Obviously, distributions normally specify dependencies to indexed modules so they can be found and installed. To list those, use the deps-all subcommand.

This function is not exported.

Arguments ('*' denotes required arguments):

  • dist => str

    Distribution name that specifies the dependency (can contain % for SQL LIKE query).

  • dist_author => str

    The ID of author that releases the distribution that specifies the distribution.

  • module => str

    Module name that is depended upon (can contain % for SQL LIKE query).

  • perl => bool

    Whether to show dependency to 'perl'.

    If set to true, will only show dependencies to 'perl'. If set to false, will exclude dependencies to 'perl'. Otherwise, will show all unindexed dependencies including ones to 'perl'.

  • phase => str (default: "ALL")

    Phase (can contain % for SQL LIKE query).

  • rel => str (default: "ALL")

    Relationship (can contain % for SQL LIKE query).

Returns an enveloped result (an array).

First element ($status_code) is an integer containing HTTP-like status code (200 means OK, 4xx caller error, 5xx function error). Second element ($reason) is a string containing error message, or something like "OK" if status is 200. Third element ($payload) is the actual result, but usually not present when enveloped result is an error response ($status_code is not 2xx). Fourth element (%result_meta) is called result metadata and is optional, a hash that contains extra information, much like how HTTP response headers provide additional metadata.

Return value: (any)
